In the realm of reality...

In the realm of reality
All strive to succeed
With the difficulties on board
we try to achieve

In the realm of reality
we dream to receive
with the truth of scarcity
we hope for abundance

In the realm of reality
a mother hopes the return of her soldier son
the news of whose death
has already touched her eardrums

In the realm of reality
happiness seems to be true
when you know it is distant
and will not be touch your heart so soon

In the realm of reality
we make a new world in our sleep
whose pictures are unavailable
yet we wish for it to prevail

In the realm of reality
exists things which are true
yet we try to find
that which we want to promote as truth

In the realm of reality
Hope happiness love remains
why not make that world
as true as other truths that prevail!!

Rishte...

rishtein hai kitne pyare
yeh hote hai hardam saath hamare
har rishta ek astitva hai
uska bhi ek mehtwa hai

apne rishton ko samjho
unhe pyar se sawaro
dular se rakho
aur samajhdari se pakro

har rishta tut nai jata
har nata chuth nai jata
samjho apni gehrai ko
samjhao usne apni parchai ko

ek bar jo rishte banate hai chorte nai
unse kabhi muh morte nahi
par samajhte nai hai wo iss pyar ko
lagta hai unko bekar wo

dukh humein dene kyun athe hai yeh rishte
dur hijana hai tho pass kyun athe hai yeh rishte
milkar bichar hi jana hai yeh rishte kyun hai
inse tho behtar nai ho yeh rishte...

Chahat

kuch pal... bas kuch pal ke liye tarapte hai
unki ek nazar ke liye taraste hai
salamat rahe hamesha .. dua har waqt yehi karte hai

har sans mein hamari unki chahat ka surur hai
har baat mein hamari unke lamhon ki hansi hai
kahin nazar na lag jae isse... bas yehi ek khwahish hai
itni lambe rah mein kadam kabhi na larkharaye.. bas yahi ek khwahish hai

Just Like That !!

I was foolish
I was naive
I did grow up
Out of the hive

I did think
I did blink
All i did
Was not a fling

I kept laughing
I kept smiling
Not realising
I could be hurting

I called them family
I called them friends
Most kept me happy
Others made me sad

95 percentile on a normal curve
Life I call you an unbiased bell curve
What goes up always comes down
Because it is always a sphere circle or round

So step out and spread
Goodness faith and happiness
The sphere will reach out for you
To give you that extra gift

You ...

Dreams unlimited
Oppurtunities do come
Grab them with two hands
And let go off none

Then the filled hands start spilling some
I can hold on to but One
Choices are many
Achievements few
What you choose
Is what is YOU !!

Tanhai....

Iss bhag daur ki zindagi mein
waqt ki kami mein
Mein tanhai khojti hun
Inn badalte logon mein
Inn muskarate chehron mein
Mein apni parchai khojti hun

kya lamhe jiye hai usne?
kya lamhe jiye hai isne?
yeh aksar socha karti hun
kya Unki tanhai ne unko kuch gam diye hai
ya di hai koi khushi
yeh socha karti hun

Meri tanhai ke alam mein
Mujhe mujhse milaya
unn akele samay ne kabhi mujhe apna wyaktitwa dikhaya
Aaj bhi uss tanhai ko khoja karti hun
Jo kabhi meri thi uss parchai ko khoja karti hun

Close Encounter

I went shopping for vegetables and never thought this is what I will be back with. Something which didn't cost me money but gave me a lesson and a spat on my face.

These were the confident and determind strides, walking with a book tucked safely under an arm and giving value to every second. No it wasn't a teenager or a grown up but a kid who was 7 years of age ( though his height seemed of 5).

At well past dusk walking fast and alone taking good care of himself and knowning where he is going very well. It seemed not that a kid from a humble background is seen walking but a Czar of the future!!

Not able to control my curiosity about him I walked and caught onto him and asked the conversation was as follows:

me: akele ho ?
him: (looked at me and thought if he should answer or not and then said) haan
All this while he was walking and no one could slow his walk. It only grew faster.

me: mummy nai hai ?
him: nai
me: umar kya hai tumhari
him: saath
me: ghar kahan hai tumhara?
him: abi tho powai jana hai ( he is walking in Marol!! People of Mumabi would know the distance is huge and that too for a kid all of 7 and all alone!!)

me: chal ke jaoge ???? ( in utter shock !!)
him: yes (calmly and composed)

Then suddenly his pencil box lost hold and flew in the air out of his well tucked hand and onto the middle of the road. I got scared he would be run over by a car.But he watched the road and picked up everything from it very fast and started walking again wasting no time.

me: naam kya hai tumhara? He said something i didn't get because of the street noice and asked him a name I thought I heard
me: rohit?

In disagreement said again and I again missed his name, so he spelt it out for me in patience

him : its U B A I D... ubaid
I repeated it and suddenly struck by his aura slowed my walk while he carried on with his journey.

He didn't just leave but he left behind some real lessons for a grown up like me:
1) No one is too young to do anything all you need is a WILL
2) Maturity doesn't come of age some people have it more than the grown ups
3) Confidence and focus never makes you feel lonely even in the most difficult times and hardships.
4) Do not let other stop you from achieving your goal but at the same time do not ignore others while trying to achieve it.

U B A I D ... I am sure this kid will make it big someday. He had something about him that made you respect him.
